Hello,
I have just returned from Kiev and have a few comments regarding Kiev Connections and my overall experience during the visit. First, at all levels of the company I was treated professionally and warmly. Starting with Vlad who picked me up at the airport and handled my accommodations, everything was top notch. The apartment was great, and the location in central Kiev couldn't have been better for an American traveler unfamiliar with the city. Next, Tanya acted as my "matchmaker" and did an excellent job in coordinating each of my meetings. She kept in touch from the very beginning when I was in the States, responded promptly to any questions and tended to my concerns as items arose. Also, Nastya handled my translation needs, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. Not only am I very comfortable with her, but more importantly so is the young lady I took an interest in. I can't thank her enough for her help on our evenings out, and wouldn't want anyone else translating for us. Lastly, with regard to Brett. My experience is that he runs a very sound operation, one that I am already referring as many friends to as possible. I have found him to be outgoing, honest and helpful. Most importantly, the entire operation from top to bottom is very sincere in their efforts to match you up with the right woman.
I had a great experience in Kiev, and if things go according to plan will have a great deal more to share in the coming months. For now, I am a huge advocate for this service, so please feel free to ask any questions that might arise. Lastly, I am heading back over on March 11th to pursue a fantastic young woman. As you can imagine, I wouldn't trust my accommodations, letter forwarding or translating needs to anyone else.

Hi Everyone:
I went to Kiev twice and I am going back again in July. I now have a wonderful girlfriend there thanks to Kiev Connections. I have spent a lot of time getting to know the Ukrainian and Slavic culture and way of life. I have worked with these people for the last 13 years in my home community where we have 100,000 of them. So, last year I finally decided to visit their home country that I always hear them talk about here in California. I enjoyed my stay very, very much and loved learning about Ukraine and the people there. I have spent a lot of time with my girlfriend from Kiev, including writing and on the phone. We now talk weekly on the phone.

While in Kiev, I have even spent time with my girlfriend's friends and have gotten to know other people in Kiev outside and unrelated to Kiev Connections. This further expansion of my relationships has helped me understand my girlfriend, the people, the culture, and the conditions more thoroughly.

One thing that really shocked me: I went to a night club with my girlfriend and three of her lady friends who had no dates with them. The music was great! And there were beautiful women everywhere! I felt surrounded by beauty. But where were all the men? As the night moved on, a few men wandered entered. But for the most part there were too many women and too few men. Lonely women dancing with other lonely women!?!? But it was okay with me. The only problem was my eyes were popping out of my head! Now, my Ukrainian girlfriend commented to me, "Dave, now you know why Brett does not go back to America!" LOL Her friend said to me, "You look like you are in a museum!"

Across the table from me sat four very beautiful lonely women who did not look happy, but instead bored. I could totally read their faces plain as day. So, I felt bad for them. I had my girlfriend get their contact information so I could maybe bring some friends with me on my next trip to Ukraine (she kept the information so she can see I am not hitting on them). Then I discovered that one of them spoke English almost perfectly! And these ladies were very nice, kind, approachable, and lady like. They were very mild. I felt so out of place in a way because I am from America where many women hate men, are loud, rude, and have a stand offish attitude. I am from a world where women are supposed to be like men, and men are supposed to be like women.

So, when I came back to America I drove by a few night clubs - middle and upper middle class clubs. Actually these clubs when compared to the income level of Ukraine would be "millionare clubs." But then I noticed something. Almost every women had a man. The few that did not have a man - well there were as many men as women in all. So then I started to question our common sense her in America. Let's get down to the basics. Why would a single man stay in America where there are not that many available women, when he could go to Ukraine where there are more available women then he would know what to do with? It would make no sense whatsoever to stay in America to look for a women. Statistically, speaking the odds are against you. This is just basic math. It is so simple. Now that I visited Ukraine, when I am here in the states I really don't even bother talking to American women.

Also, another thing that is wonderful about Ukraine, is the women are really like women. And it is nice - they are gentle, feminine, mild, quiet. And they dress very beautifully (even though they have little money). And they appreciate real men too. I don't see them yell and scream and spit and cuss. I do not see the Ukrainian women assert themselves aggressively just to prove they can "equal to a man."

Back at home in the states many people think I am crazy for going to Ukraine. Some business women said to me, "Everyone at the office thinks you are finding a Ukrainian wife because you want a SLAVE!"

Oh, man how did America get so off course! I know California is the land of fruits and nuts, but how could we call a nice, gentle, caring, kind, loving, beautiful, intelligent, educated Ukrainian women a slave just because she does not act like a macho man and beat people over the head to prove her manhood?!?!

I encourage all you guys who are single to GO TO UKRAINE! IT IS A NO BRAINER! Meet the women, meet the people. As you spend time with them, you will be able to see if someone is fake or for real. Go out with several women and compare what their intentions are.
